Capable Communities Program

We love being part of our local community.

We grew up here, we have seen the changes as the communities around us have developed. We have even seen the freeway and train come through.

We love watching our community grow and thrive. We love being an active part of this

community and feel privileged to be trusted with the health of so many people.

One of our key values within the company is to give back to our community.

We currently do this in a number of ways.

  1. Injury Prevention Educational Workshops

These workshops include ACL prevention workshops for athletes and coaches, Ankle and knee injury prevention, shoulder injury prevention and prevention of injury for CrossFit athletes.

These are free workshops provided by our experienced and knowledgeable team for the benefit of the community.

2. Supporting local sports clubs, athletes and coaches to deliver safe and appropriate programs

Throughout the year, our team attend various sports clubs and review programs, delivering age and sport appropriate recommendations for injury prevention and strength and conditioning.

We also provide advice on acute injury management.

3. Animal Rescue Fundraising Series

As part of our giving back, we hold Fundraising Exercise events for local animal rescues.

Over the past couple of years, we have hosted a number of Purr-lates and Goat Yoga events, partnering with the following not-for-profit organisations.

  • Staffy & Bully Breed Rescue

  • Shenton Park Dogs Home

  • Desperate For Love Dog Pound Rescue

  • 9 Lives Cat Rescue

  • Deedlebug Animal Rescue

100% of proceeds raised in our events are donated back to the rescues.

4. Christmas Collection Drives

Each year, we organise a collection for a local charity group assisting vulnerable community members.

So far, we have partnered with

  • Earbus Foundation

  • Feed it Forward Inc

  • Shenton Park Dogs Refuge

  • Little things for Tiny Tots

  • Foodbank WA

Our Christmas Collection is a highlight for all of us. We love seeing the community and team come together and donate to a worthy and aligned cause.

4. Supporting Growth of other Local Businesses
